Is an outdoor living space or hardscape addition a smart investment?

Whether you are doing a front entrance walkway with lighting or an outdoor living area, it is always a smart investment. Hardscape and landscape services provide lasting value to properties by making them significantly more appealing to the eye.

Why is my paver patio, walkway, or driveway sinking in spots?

This issue is usually narrowed down to a couple of things: The ground freezing and thawing during the winter months, creating a shift in the base material over time. The patio area wasn’t installed with the proper base material, pitch, or drainage. The patio area doesn’t have enough compacted or permeable material under it depending on the application.

How do you make sure my patio area doesn’t sink overtime?

We account for the issues listed in the previous question with every design we do. We offer permeable and semi-permeable base systems that may or may not need additional drainage, depending on the specific situation. Our base systems allow water to flow under the area freely and away from it instead of getting trapped underneath the area or washing it away over time.

What is hardscaping?

Hardscaping is defined as installed features used in landscape architecture, such as pathways, patios, and walls that are contrasted with vegetation.

Why is my retaining wall falling over?

Retaining wall failure is mostly due to improper installation or pressure build up overtime. A proper retaining wall installation requires many different key factors, such as drainage systems at the base of the wall to direct water away alleviating pressure build up, the proper amount of drainage aggregate underneath and behind the wall with fabrics to keep the aggregate separated over time and geogrid or other stabilizers that help hold the structural integrity of the wall. Your retaining wall may need to be engineered if it is over a certain height or is taking on a large amount of pressure.

How do I take care of my patio after it's installed?

Applying protective sealant to a paver structure every one to two years will protect the structure’s surfaces. They have pre sealed options for pavers as well from the distributors.

What is the most important part of a patio installation?

The most important part of a patio installation will always be the base material and install. A hardscape structure is only as solid as the material underneath it.

Can you give us a visual of what our project will look like?

Yes, we offer 3D design services for clients that need that visual aspect to commit to a project.

Do you have a square footage price that we could use?

We do not use square footage pricing on any of our projects. There are too many different factors that come into play when doing hardscaping/ landscaping now. We estimate every job individually to fit our clients wants and needs while addressing any foreseeable issues.

Do you have any warranties for your projects?

Yes, we give a two year warranty on our hardscapes with a factory warranty on products from the manufacturer.
